Bernice E. (Wartluft) Yarian, age 100, of Freeburg, OH passed away Thursday January 18, 2018. She was born in Freeburg, Ohio on October 2, 1917 to the late Dwight and Olive (Unger) Hahn. She was Secretary at Marlington High School for seventeen years. Bernice was a member of the Freeburg Church of the Brethren where she was the organist for over fifty years and a life time Deaconess.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Grant E. Wartluft and her second husband, Kenneth Yarian. She is survived by a daughter, Joan (Dale) Campbell; two sons, Dale (Judy) Wartluft and Daryll (Mary Beth) Wartluft; a step daughter, Janice (Dan) Gibson; two step sons, David (Marie) Yarian and Mark (Carolyn) Yarian; nine grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; seven step great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11am Tuesday at the Freeburg Church of the Brethren with Rev. Mike Zellers and Rev. Richard Kidwell officiating. Calling hours will be from 10-11am Tuesday morning at the church. Burial will be in the Freeburg Cemetery.
