Earl R. Schmucker

Earl R. Schmucker, age 89, of Louisville, OH, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018 in Strongsville, OH. He was born December 23, 1928 in Louisville to the late Byron and Mary (Conrad) Schmucker. Earl was a retired farmer and he had also worked for Sugardale Foods. He was a member of Beech Mennonite Church.

Earl is survived by his wife of 64 years, Dorothy (Yoder) Schmucker, two daughters, Vivian Schmucker and Julie (Ray) Castner, four grandchildren, Nathan Schmucker, Adam (Laura) Schmucker, Diane Castner, Daniel Castner and many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a son, Clifford Schmucker, two brothers, Marland and Ivan Schmucker.

Funeral services will be 11am Wednesday at Beech Mennonite Church in Louisville with Rev. Dan King officiating. Calling hours will be 10-11am Wednesday morning at the church. Burial will be in Beech Mennonite Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Beech Mennonite Cemetery Assoc., or the American Macular Degeneration Foundation, P.O.
