Edward “Red” Thomas Daley, age 88, of Louisville, OH passed away in his home with his family at his side on Sunday, February 18, 2018. He was born November 6, 1929 in Southfork, PA to the late Frank Daley and Louise (Davison). Red was retired from Conrail Railroad. He was proud to serve in the Marine Corp. in Korea. He was a lifetime member of the Beaverdale American Legion and the Louisville FOE. He enjoyed fishing at Rice Lake, Golfing, going to Mountaineer, Bowling and most of all, spending time with his family.
Red is survived by his wife of 62 years, Virginia (Ickes) Daley, two daughters, Sharen (Anthony) Campitelli, Karen Rowlands, a son, Edward “Rusty” (Tina) Daley, Grandchildren, Christopher (Tiffany) Rowlands, Joshua (Kelly) Daley, Anthony Campitelli, Ashley (Cliff) Hall, Dr. LaRissa (Ryan) Tilley, Matthew (Gina) Campitelli, Great-Grandchildren, Olivia, Eleana, Paxton, Adysin, RaeLynn, and many Cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, Billy, his mother and father Louise and Walter Westover
Funeral services will be 11am Friday at Stier-Israel Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Brown officiating. Calling hours will be 5-7pm Thursday evening at the funeral home. Red will be laid to rest with full military honors in Evergreen Memorial Garden in Louisville, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be to St. Jude, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
