Gloria J. McGoye, age 84, of Louisville, OH passed away Monday, August 28, 2017 with her family by her side. She was born January 14, 1933 in East Liverpool, OH to the late Domenic and Katherine D’Innocenzo. Gloria graduated from Lincoln High School in Midland, PA and from the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Pittsburgh, PA. She was an RN and worked as the Director of Nursing for many years at the former Miller Care Center. She was a dedicated member of St. Louis Catholic Church. She was also a member of the American Legion and the Louisville Eagles Ladies auxiliary.

Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin McGoye, in 2012, her son Michael John McGoye and her sister, Jeanne Rooney. She is survived by three daughters, Jeannette McGoye, Marian (Scott) Welsh, Suzanne (Jim) Hartline, a son Phillip (Kathi) McGoye, a sister, Marian Germusa, 11 grandchildren, Michael (Brooke) McGoye, Rachel (Travis) Timm, Victor McGoye, Leigh (Dustin) Page, Alicia (Brian) Staats, Kristen (Wayne) Stoker, Tiffany McGoye, Autum Welsh, Seth Welsh, J.P. and Max Hartline, 13 great-grandchildren and her dear friend, Jan Farrah.

Gloria had a big heart and she was very dedicated to her family and her many employees throughout the years. The family would like to thank St. Joseph Care Center and Cross Roads Hospice for the kind and compassionate care that was given to Gloria.

A mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30am Thursday morning at St. Louis Catholic Church in Louisville. Gloria will be laid to rest, beside her husband, in St. Louis Parrish Cemetery. The family would like to invite friends and family to a celebration of Gloria’s life at the Louisville Eagles on Saturday, (9/2)   at 2pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept. 142 Memphis TN, 38101-9908.
