James Sherman Harsh, Sr.

James Harsh Sr, age 85, of Louisville, OH passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018. He was born March 11, 1933 in Canton, OH to the late Henry and Helen Harsh. Jim was a retired welder from East Manufacturing. He was an Army Veteran and a member of the Louisville FOE. He was also preceded in death by his wife Roberta Harsh, in 2017, a sister, Audrey Muhleman and a brother, Bill Harsh. Jim is survived by two daughters, Debra (Derryl) Hoover, Kathy (Richard) Barrett, three sons, James (Rise) Harsh Jr, Terry (Susan) Harsh, Rodney Harsh, eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

Funeral services will be 12noon Friday at Stier-Israel Funeral Home. Calling hours will be 11am-12noon Friday Morning at the funeral home. Jim will be laid to rest, with Military Honors, in Evergreen Memorial Garden. Online condolences may be left at www.stierisraelfuneralhome.com
