Janet C. Bailey

Janet C. Bailey, age 79, of Louisville, OH passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018. She was born May 31, 1938 in Wellsville, OH to the late Clarence and Edith (Thomas) Johnston. Janet was a member of Paradise United Church of Christ and the ladies quilting circle of the church.  

She was also preceded in death by her husband, John “Bob” Bailey in 2016, two sisters and three brothers. Janet is survived by two daughters, Kimberly (Mark) Lonsway, Katrina (Ray) Koontz, a son, Kevin (Dana) Bailey, her sister, Marilyn (OJ) Chandler, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a family friend, Marla Bailey.

A memorial service will be 11am Friday morning (5/4/18) at Paradise United Church of Christ in Louisville, OH with Rev. Dr. David Anderson officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11am Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Stark County Humane Society.
