Joseph E. Samblanet, age 90, of Louisville, OH passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017. He was born February 9, 1927 in Louisville to the late Vincent and Florence (Bishop) Samblanet. Joe was an auto mechanic and was retired from Holland Pontiac in Massillon. He was Navy Veteran and a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Louisville.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Dolores (Pillot) Samblanet, a daughter, Karyn (Craig) Crislip, four sons, Tom (Sally), Dennis, Mike (Diana) and Tim (Chris) Samblanet, two sisters, Ruth Gulling and Alice Vignos, two brothers, Paul and Robert (Rita) Samblanet, nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Joe was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Heidi Samblanet and two sisters, Esther Rupple and Sister Grace Marie (Dorothy) Samblanet.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30am Wednesday at St. Louis Catholic Church. Calling hours will be 4-6pm Tuesday at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville. Memorial contributions may be made to St Louis Church or Liberty Youth Ranch, PO Box 366206, Bonita Springs, Florida 34136.
