Lynn E. (Messenheimer) Jackson, age 76, of Louisville, OH, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away Friday, January 5, 2018. She was born May 9, 1941 in Alliance, OH to the late John and Bonnie (Seitz) Messenheimer. Lynn was a 1959 graduate of Alliance High School, a graduate of Mount Union College and received her master’s in education from Kent State University. She fondly remembers her time as a member of the cheer squad for the Cleveland Browns during the early 1950’s. Lynn enjoyed life and especially loved her family and numerous close friends. She was retired from Alliance City Schools where she was an educator/guidance counselor for 30+ years.

Lynn is survived by her husband of 55 years, James W. Jackson, two sons, Andy (Lynn)  and John (Nancy) Jackson, a brother, John (Carla) Messenheimer, six granddaughters, Janelle, Nicole, Grace, Ellie, Jessica, Kelsey and one great-grandson, Blake.

A memorial service to celebrate Lynn’s life will be 11am Tuesday at Paradise United Church of Christ in Louisville with Rev. Dr. David Anderson officiating. The family will greet friends and family at a memorial luncheon in the church hall, immediately following the service.
