Marjorie Ruth (Ault) Shank/Jossi

Marjorie (Ault) Shank/Jossi, age 100, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018. She was born August 14, 1917 in Canton, OH to the late Clarence and Althea (Frasier) Ault. She was an elementary school teacher and then late a junior high guidance counselor for many years in the Alliance and Canton School Districts. She was a very active member of the O.E.A. Marjorie was a long time, active member of the United Church of Christ in both Louisville and Strasburg.

She is survived by two sons, William (Janet) Shank, Sr, John (Ginny) Shank, a sister, Barbara Baker, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Marjorie was also preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Shank, second husband, Larry Cunningham, third husband, Ernie Jossi, two sisters, Hazel and Jean, two brothers, John and Bill.

A memorial service will be held 11am Friday, April 13 at Paradise United Church of Christ in Louisville with Rev. Dr. David Anderson officiating. Calling hours will be 10-11am Friday morning at the church. Online condolences may be left at www.stierisraelfuneralhome.com
