Shirley E (Linder) Ritchie

Shirley E. (Linder) Ritchie, age 91, of Louisville, OH passed away Friday, April 13, 2018. She was born February 3, 1927 in Louisville to the late Cletus and Vera (Sluss) Linder. She was a member of Paradise United Church of Christ and Eastern Star Chapter #400. Shirley was very proud to be an RN, graduating from the Aultman School of nursing in 1947. She was also a member of the Aultman Alumni Assoc.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Robert E. Ritchie in 2005, her special daughter, Kathleen and her brother, Tom Linder. She is survived by two daughters, Joy and Susie Ritchie, a son, Eric (Sue) Ritchie, her sister, Diann Hartzell, nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Shirley was very proud of her family. She touched everyone’s life with her sweet and caring nature, and the world lost one of its angels on earth.

Funeral services will be 12 noon Tuesday at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville with Rev. Cathy Arble officiating. Calling hours will be 11am-12noon Tuesday morning at the funeral home. Shirley will be laid to rest beside her husband and daughter in Union Cemetery.
