Susie (Bowman) Murphy, age 93, of Louisville, passed away Monday January 8, 2018. She was born in Holloway, Ohio on July 25, 1924 to the late Luther Eugene and Leone (Hemphill) Bowman. She was a member of the Louisville Church of Christ and the North Industry Sportsman Club.

Besides her parents, Susie was preceded in death by her husband Delbert in 2000; four sisters, Josephine Bowman, Rosie Chini, Eunice Kent and Ruth Cramblett. She is survived by two daughters, Sue (Bob) Everhart and Jeannie Chance; two sons, Jim (Polly) Murphy, Dan (Shirley) Murphy; a sister, Ginger Slagle; eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11am Friday at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville with Ron Laughery and Brian Grubbs officiating. Calling hours will be one hour before services at the funeral home Friday morning. Susie will be laid to rest in Rock Hill Cemetery, Belmont County, Ohio.
