p>Betty L. Jones, age 87, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday January 8, 2019. She was born in Akron, Ohio on May 19, 1931 to the late Nelson and Ella (Newell) Madden. Betty was retired from the Harmont Ave. K-Mart.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence in 2006; two son in laws, Ken Byrd and Steve Gowin; five sisters and two brothers. She is survived by five daughters, Julie Byrd, Donna Gross, Janet (Bob) Grove, Patricia (Ed) Schott, Kathy Gowin; two sons, Bruce (Bonnie) Jones and Gary (Barbara) Jones; fourteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren; a sister, Geni Sue (Bill) Ferguson; a brother, Nelson (Julia) Madden, Jr.

Per her wishes a private graveside service will be held at Union Cemetery, Louisville with Pastor Rick Brown officiating. There will be no calling hours. On line condolences may be left at www.stierisraelfuneralhome.com
