Cynthia Sue Barthel, age 70, of North Benton, OH passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018. She was born January 2, 1948 in Canton, OH to Alexander and Audrey (VanHorn) Smith. She was retired from the Hoover Company in North Canton, OH. Cynthia is survived by her husband, Dennis Barthel, her mother, Audrey Smith, and a sister Jini Smith. She was preceded in death by her father. A celebration of life service will be held at later date.
