Dorothea Ida Lafferty, age 85, of Louisville, OH passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 22, 2017 in her home. She was born August 30, 1932 in Allentown, PA to the late Melvin and Mae Long. Dorothea is survived by her husband of 65 years, Rev. Robert L. Lafferty, three daughters, Brenda (Michael) Stentz, Marcia (Danny) Deem, Robyn (W. Rusty) Evans, a son, Robert (Terry) Lafferty, Jr, a brother, Donald (Carol) Long, 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Lamar Long and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 6pm Wednesday Evening at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville. Calling hours will be 5-6pm Wednesday evening at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Missions Outreach c/o First Assembly of God Church, 1921 W. Main St. Louisville, OH 44641.
