Elsie K (Lillie) Miller

Elsie K. Miller, age 96, of Alliance, passed away Tuesday February 6, 2018. She was born in Canton, Ohio on July 31, 1921 to the late George and Mary (Hutchinson) Lillie. Elsie was a former employee of Ethel’s Beauty Salon and O’Neil’s Dept. Store in Alliance. She was a member of the Alliance Church of the Nazarene and Mile Branch Grange. Elsie had served in the Army Signal Corp.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George C. Miller; two sisters, Ruth Royer and Sally McKee; a brother, Bud Lillie. She is survived by two daughters, Sally Ann Heestand and Jola Dee (Don) Agnew; a son, George B. (Connie) Miller; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; three step grandchildren and six step great grandchildren; her special little visitor, Brayton.

Funeral services will be 11am Friday at the Alliance Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Glen Davidson officiating. Calling hours will be from 10-11am Friday morning at the church. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alliance Church of the Nazarene, 1345 S. Arch Ave., Alliance, Ohio 44601.
