Eugene "Gene" R. Miller

Eugene “Gene” R. Miller, age 76, of Louisville passed away Monday, March 19, 2018. He was born January 19, 1942 in Canton, OH to the late Ross and Treva Miller. Gene retired from AT&T in 1999. He was a member of the Louisville F.O.E., the AT&T pioneers club and he was an avid Bowler and Golfer.

Gene is survived by his wife of 49 years, Shirley (Trego) Miller, his daughter, Denise (Michael Christine) Reichard, three sisters, Janet (Neal) Waltz, Marlene Senter, Carol (Rick) Lewis, a grandson, Cody Reichard and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be 7pm Thursday evening at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville. Calling hours will be 5-7pm Thursday evening at the funeral home. The Louisville Eagles will have a service at 4:55pm Thursday evening at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Stark County Dog Warden, 1801 Mahoning Rd NE, Canton, OH 44705 or the charity of your choice.
