Obituary
Barbara Lee Johnson, age 95, of Louisville, OH passed away Friday, March 17, 2023. She was born January 8, 1928 in Albion, PA to the late William and Oleta (Lorentz) Wilson. She was a long-time member of the Beacon of Hope Community Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher and as a member of the Woman’s Missionary Society . She was also a former member of the Louisville Town and Country Garden Club and a Legacy member of the Order of Eastern Star #400.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Wade Johnson in 2016 and her sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and John Baker. She is survived by two daughters, Diane (Todd) Keller, Carol (Herb) Kohler; a son, Steve (Elizabeth) Johnson; four grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, who were a blessing to her.
Funeral services will be 11:30am Friday morning at the Beacon of Hope Community Church, 1101 E. Main St, Louisville, OH 44641 with Pastor Ralph Gibson officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30-11:30am Friday morning at the church. Barbara will be laid to rest, beside her husband, in Union Cemetery, Louisville, OH.
