Bette A. (Fasano) Donant

"Together Again"

Bette A. Donant, age 88, Canton, OH passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021. She was born February 16, 1932 in Canton, OH to the late Nicholas and Adeline (Salvino) Fasano. She married Robert Donant on February 20, 1954. She hosted a Japanese exchange student, Michiko. Bette volunteered for the Juilliard Senior Center and Meals on Wheels, She cared for several elderly familes, she always loved helping others! Bette was preceded in death by her husband , Robert Donant; a daughter, Bonnie (Donant) Smith; a son, Thomas Donant; her sister, Esther Huber and her brother, Nick Fasano. She is survived, two daughters, Judy (Jack) Medley, Kerstin (Bob) Chaney; two sons, Ron (Rose) Donant, Steve (Linda) Donant; 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and son-in-law, Tim Smith. Bette was a member of St. Anthonys Catholic Church and the Miraculous Metal Society. She also enjoyed crafting with the ladies of the church.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated 10am Saturday, February 13 at St. Anthonys Catholic Church in Canton, OH. Bette will be laid to rest, with her husband, in St. Peters Parish Cemetery, Canton, OH.    Stier-Israel Funeral Home 330-875-1414
