Betty Mae (Day) Cook

Betty Mae Cook, age 88, of Bolivar, OH passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2021. She was born August 28, 1933 in Elkins, West Virginia to the late Isaac and Ourtilia Day. Betty lived a simple life, to the fullest, with a strong Christian faith and would often say “Jesus Knows All About It.” She was a former member of the Marlboro Assembly of God Church.

Betty was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Cook, in 2017; a son, Paul Cook Jr; a grandson, David Cook; and many brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son, Cliff (Dana) Cook; four grandchildren, Jason (Jessica) Cook, Stephanie (Dan) Almasy, Cortney (JC) Cook, Calie Cook; six great-grandchildren, Nicole, Cody, Lydia and Damion Cook, Kaden and Kolton Almasy and a great-great grandson, Layne Flack

Funeral services will be 12noon Friday at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville. Calling hours will be 11am-12noon Friday morning at the funeral home. Betty will be laid to rest in Marlboro Cemetery. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.stierisraelfuneralhome.com
