Betty K. Thomas

Betty K. Thomas, age 92, of North Canton, OH went home to be with the Lord, peacefully, in her home, on Thursday, April 8, 2021. She was born in Accident, Maryland on August 28, 1928 to the late Alfred “Fritz” and Grace George. Betty was a Charter member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in N. Canton. She was a former employee of the Canton Public Library and she was retired from the North Canton Public Library.

Betty was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Thomas in 2000. She is survived by her daughter, Sally Thomas; her sister, Rose Ann Crowder; sister-in-law, Betty Krabill; brother-in-law, Elden Thomas and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11am Tuesday morning at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 7707 Market Ave N, North Canton, OH 44721 with Rev. James Allen Oester officiating. Calling hours will be 10-11am Tuesday at the church. Betty will be laid to rest, by her husband, in Sunset Hills Burial Park, Canton, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Church or the Stark County Humane Society.
