Carl "Butch" Chatelain

Carl “Butch” Chatelain, Jr, age 81, of Louisville, OH, passed away Wednesday August 18, 2021. He was born in Canton, Ohio on March 20, 1940 to the late Carl A. and Margaret R. (Sanders) Chatelain, Sr. Butch was employed by Cain Motors of North Canton and was a former employee of Romick Chevrolet of Louisville and Eppy’s Chevrolet of Canton. Butch had a great love for animals, especially his Dogs.

Besides his parents, Carl was preceded in death by two brothers, Jon and James Chatelain. He is survived by his wife, Candace; two daughters, Becky Chatelain and Kimberly Noble; a son, Jeff (Toni) Chatelain; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11am Monday at Stier – Israel Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Kelsey officiating. Calling hours will be from 2-4pm Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Canton, OH. Memorial donation may be made to the American Heart Association.
