Carol A. Hale, age 85, went to be with the love of her life, Carl, on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. She was born July 4, 1939 to Gerald and Pauline Wartman in Minerva, OH. Carol attended Minerva High School, Class of 1957. On December 23, 1961 she married Carl Hale, who was in the Navy. They lived in many states before he retired in 1971. They bought a house in Burlington, NJ and lived there for 34 years. Carol was very active in the township, serving on the Mayors Committee and The Youth Heritage Committee. She was the director of sales and marketing for the Landmark Hotel in Maple Shade, NJ. They moved back to Louisville in 2005 and became very active with the Louisville YMCA. She enjoyed water swimnastics and all the good friends that she made.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl Hale; two sons, Todd Hale and Rodney Myers; and her brother, Jerry Wartman. She is survived by a son, Terry (Julie) Myers; three sisters, Sandy Siber, Linda (Dave) Miller, Debra (Johney) Cline and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11am Monday at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville. Calling hours will be 10-11am Monday morning at the funeral home. Carol will be laid to rest in Union Cemetery, Louisville, OH. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.stierisraelfuneralhome.com
