Clarence E. Borton

Clarence E. Borton, age 82, of Louisville, OH passed away Sunday, February 23, 2025. He was born December 4, 1942 in Salem, OH to Clarence M. and Effie (Jones) Borton. Clarence was a retired truck driver for AEP. He attended both St. Louis and Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church’s. He was a member of AARP, Louisville FOE and the Ohio Power Retirees.

Clarence is survived by his wife of 62 years, Kathleen (Cholley) Borton; a daughter, Christine (Brian Stevens) Ross; three sons, David (Lisa Joyner), Ron (Amy) and Paul (Penny) Borton; a sister, Donna (Steve) Lysyj; brother-in-law, Terry Shopbell; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Sondra Shopbell, Geraldine Dorsey, Nancy Shopbell.

A memorial mass will be celebrated 10am Saturday (3/01) at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Nimishillen Fire Dept. or the Stark County Humane Society. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.stierisraelfuneralhome.com
