Clarence A. Johnson

Clarence A. Johnson, age 101, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2025. He was born June 18, 1924 in Belmont County, OH, on the family farm, to the late Oscar and Nellie (Bass) Johnson. He worked 34 years as a truck driver for Soehnlen Piping Company and was a member of Teamsters Local #92. 

Clarence is survived by his wife of 77 years, Stella (Kanzig) Johnson; his son, Dennis (Kathleen) Johnson; three granddaughters, Melissa, Laura, and Meredith; four great-grandchildren Brayden, Gwendolyn, Haley, and Alana. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Alice Ramsey and Lois Gibboney; five brothers, Taylor, Roland "Red", Earl, Bill, and Ross Johnson. 

There will be a private family funeral held at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville, OH.  Clarence will be laid to rest in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Louisville.
