Danny I. Stuckey, age 74, of Louisville, OH passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 10, 2021, surrounded by his loved ones in his home. He was born November 20, 1946, in Canton, the son of the late Irvin F. and Beatrice L. (Smith) Stuckey.
Dan graduated from Louisville High School, Class of 1964. While working as an engineer for ConRail (retired after 33 years in 1996), he obtained an associate degree from the American Technology Institute in 1966. Dan, a Vietnam Veteran, was drafted into the army in November of 1966 and served two years. During a short leave in 1967, he married Barbara A. Schmucker, and they settled in Louisville. They celebrated 53 years of marriage in November. Dan, a taxidermist for 50 years, was born into a hunting family and has passed his love/passion of the outdoors on to his kids and grandkids.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Barbara, are his sons Jon I. Stuckey and his wife, Melissa, of Green, Chad I. Stuckey and his wife, Kelly, of South Lyon, MI; daughter, Danna L. Leary and her husband, Dan, of Carrollton; ten grandchildren, Tyler Asbury, Stephanie Asbury, Daniel Leary, Darci Leary, Ayden Stuckey, Dylan Stuckey, Ryley Stuckey, Owen Stuckey, Demi Leary, and Venna Stuckey; one brother, Thomas F. Stuckey and his fiancé, Angela, of North Augusta, SC; many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
