David A. Garner, age 84, of Louisville, OH passed away Sunday, October 12, 2025. He was born October 9, 1941 in Canton, OH to the late Wilbur and Bernice Garner. David was a retired Auto Tech at Cain BMW in Canton. He was a Vietnam War Veteran and a member of the DAV Chapter #50 in Alliance, OH. He was a member of the former United Church of Christ in Canton and was currently attending the Christ Church of Louisville.
David is survived by his wife of 49 years, Linda (Snyder) Garner; two sons, Michael Garner and Randal (Linda) Floyd; a daughter, Kim (Brian) Thomson; two sisters, Jean (Darla) Ross, Barbara Ackelson; and his granddaughter, Bobbi Thomson. Besides his parents, David was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and James Garner.
Funeral services will be 11am Friday (10/17) morning at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville. Calling hours will be 10am-11am Friday morning at the funeral home. David will be laid to rest, with military honors, in Evergreen Memorial Garden, Louisville, OH.
