David was preceded in death by his father, S. F. Gibbons and brother Dennis Gibbons, and is survived by his mother, JoAnn Gibbons; wife of almost 50 years, Brenda Gibbons; sons, David Gibbons II, and Christopher (Lisa) Gibbons; sisters, Tawanna (Craig) Anderson, Lawanna (Kenny) Cournoyer, Vicki (Reno) Sanczel, JoAnn Gibbons; brother, Robert (Debbie) Gibbons; granddaughters Emily, April, and Cierra; and an aunt, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
