Deborah “Debbie” Dimmerling, a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on February 5, 1957, to late Louis and Madeline (McGinnis) Duplain, Debbie’s life was a testament to her kind heart and joyful spirit.
A proud graduate of Louisville High School, Debbie’s infectious warmth and positive outlook were her defining traits. She had a remarkable ability to connect with people and bring a smile to anyone’s face.
She is survived by her loving husband Rodney Dimmerling; her son, Aaron Fischer, his wife Melissa, and their son Ace; her stepdaughter, Sarah Morris; and her stepsons, Samuel, Thomas, and Paul Dimmerling. She was also a beloved grandmother of 12 grandchildren and loving aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.
Debbie will be deeply missed by her siblings, Ronnie Duplain, Richard Duplain, Cheryl Stoiber, and Becky Crawford. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Chuck Duplain.
Debbie’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and the countless people whose lives she enriched with her love and genuine kindness.
A “Celebration of Life” will be held 12-4 PM August 24th, 2025 at the Louisville Fraternal Order of Eagles located 306 W Main Street, Louisville, OH 44641.
