Diana Sue (Pochubay) Buckley, age 68, of Louisville, OH passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021.
2 TIMOTHY 4:7
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
These are true words to describe Diana. She loved her family intensely. Her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the driving force behind her good fight. She carried us all when times were hard and relished the joy in the good times, until the race was over. All the while she kept the faith, never faltering in her love and support of those closest to her. No matter what was thrown her direction she maintained that beautiful courageous smile through it all. Touching all those around. She will forever be missed.
Diana was born April 29, 1953 in Canton, OH to the late John and Virginia (Anderson) Pochubay. Along with her parents, she was preceded her in death by her in-laws James and Faye (George) Buckley whom she loved very much.
Diana is survived by her husband Michael Buckley Sr, their children Derrick (Sr) and Marie Buckley, their children Derrick (Jr) & Kayla Buckley, Daniel & Tori (Czech); Brian & Jennifer Buckley, their children Chandler & Brittney Martinez, Grant Martinez & Kylee DeWeese (their daughter Kinley Rose Martinez), and Ashton Martinez; Michael (Jr) & Michele Buckley, their children Gavin & Hailee Buckley (their daughter Ainsley Buckley) and Gabrielle Buckley. Two sisters Sharon & Dick George, Jean & Frank Staley, and their families. Amongst the countless family and friends scattered all around the country.
Calling hours will be 6-8pm Friday evening at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville, OH. A private family funeral will be held on Saturday. Diana will be laid to rest in Conotton Cemetery, Bowerston, OH. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Humane Society, Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, and/or The Heart Foundation.
