Diann Yvonne Hartzell, age 87, of Louisville, Ohio went to be with her Lord on January 15, 2025 following a long, courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Her family thanks the wonderful and dedicated staff at Bethany Nursing Home for their love and excellent care. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Jerry) Weber of Louisville; son John Hartzell (Tiffany Palmowski) of Lake Wales, Florida; grandchildren Aubrey (Jason) Hollen of Raleigh, Rachel (Jim) Kline of Alliance; great-grandchildren Madyson, James, Raelynn, and Christian Kline, Kendall and Millie Hollen, and grand-dogs Max, Jaxson, Sparky, & Lucky.
She was preceded in death by husband Richard in 2018, son Michael Dean in 1962, her parents Cletus and Vera Linder, brother Tom Linder, and sister Shirley Ritchie.
Diann worked at St. Joseph Hospice and Timken Mercy Hospital where she retired as a Senior Technician- C. S. S. She enjoyed spending time with family, sewing, gardening, cross-stitching, knitting, crocheting, visiting covered bridges, Fenton, and Amish Country. She was a proud member of the Louisville High School class of 1955.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville, Ohio with Brian Grubbs officiating. Calling hours will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the service.
