Eleanor J. (Mizer) Yoder

Eleanor J. Yoder, age 86, Loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother, of Louisville, OH passed away peacefully, in her home, on Monday, July 18, 2022. She was born January 1, 1936 in Canton, OH to the late Warren and Gertrude Mizer. Eleanor was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and the Friendship Sunday School Class. She was a member of the Town and Country Garden Club and she was an avid flower gardener.

Eleanor is survived by her husband of 63 years, Harold Yoder; two daughters, Shari (Eldon) Brugger, Melanie (Craig) Zwick; a brother, Ronald (Jeannine) Mizer; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her son, D. Mike Yoder and a brother, William Mizer.

Funeral services will be 10:30am Thursday Morning at Christ United Methodist Church in Louisville, with Pastor Michael Grant officiating. Calling hours will be 5-7pm Wednesday Evening at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville and one hour before services at the church Thursday Morning. Eleanor will be laid to rest in Beech Mennonite Cemetery, Louisville, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ United Methodist Church or The Shriners Children’s Hospital.
