Eleanor "Ellie" L. (Stertzbach) Lautzenheiser

Eleanor L. “Ellie” Lautzenheiser of Louisville, Ohio passed away Tuesday November 7, 2023 at the Inn at Whitewood Village memory unit. She was born May 25, 1941 to the late Harold Sr. and Dorothy (Douglas) Stertzbach.  She was a member of Paradise United Church of Christ in Louisville and Legacy Chapter No 596 Eastern Star. After her two boys were in grade school, she worked at various positions to help her family.  She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Larry, son Eric (Heidi), son Todd (Michelle) and grandchildren, Paige, Sydney, Tyler Lautzenheiser and Lauren (Aaron) Bodenschatz. Besides her mother and father, she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters Harold Jr (Marion), Marie (Karl) Betz, Janet (Al) Cotham, John (Faye) and Jerry (Juanita). She is survived by brother and sisters Dick (Marcia), Linda (Fred) Torres and Kathy (Bill) Malone.

A memorial service to celebrate Ellie’s life will be on Friday, November 17 at 10:00am at Paradise United Church of Christ, 619 E. Main St. Louisville, Ohio 44641 with pastor Dr. David Anderson officiating. There will be a private family burial, in Union Cemetery, immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, Greater East Ohio Area Chapter, 408 Ninth St. S.W. Suite 3400, Canton, Ohio 44707.
