Eugene D. Matheny

Eugene D. Matheny, age 92, of Louisville, OH passed away Sunday, December 17, 2023. He was born January 31, 1931 in Gilmer County, W. Virginia to the late Dillon and Pearl Matheny. Eugene was a Korean Conflict, Army Veteran.

Eugene was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Matheny in 2021; his sister, Lyla Watson and a grandson, Jeffrey. He is survived by two daughters, Linda (Terry) Fleischer, Donna Kelley; a son, Tom (Deborah) Matheny; his brother, Wayne Matheny; 4 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 12noon Thursday at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville with Pastor Rick Brown officiating. Calling hours will be 11am-12noon Thursday morning at the funeral home.
