Gary W. Jervis, age 65, of Louisville, OH passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024. He was born April 2, 1959 in Canton, OH to the late Wilbert and Lena (Grigsby) Jervis. Gary retired from Schesser, Buckley, Mayfield after 43 years of service as an electrical designer. He was also a volunteer fireman for the Nimishillen Township Fire Department for 18 years, serving as the chief fire inspector for much of that time. He was past president of the Canton Invaders Fan Club, the designer of the Stark County Veterans Memorial and a member of Louisville F.O.E. 2374. Gary enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR, rooting for THE Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland sports teams – all the while enjoying his wine club collections from Maize Valley and Childress Vineyards.
Gary is survived by his wife of 42 years, Frances (Lanzi) Jervis; his daughter, Rachel (Tom) Baker; two grandchildren, Thomas and Marie Baker; and two grand-dogs, Luna and Dozer. Sleep well, honey…”pranging ducks on the wing and getting off spectacular hip shots.”
