Gene A. Imdorf

Gene A. Imdorf, age 85, of Louisville, OH passed away Friday, January 28, 2022. He was born October 23, 1936 in Louisville to the late Oscar and Arabell (Schulz) Imdorf. He was a 1954 graduate of Louisville High School. Gene was a member of the NRA and the Louisville F.O.E. He served in the Army Reserves and was retired from Custom Design in Canton.

Gene is survived by his wife of 41 years, Luane Imdorf; three daughters, Valerie (Lynn) Keener, Julie (John) Sherrill, Janessa (Josh) Keifer; a son Danny (Amy) Imdorf; three brothers, John (Joan), Larry and Jim (Candy) Imdorf; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Gene was a devout follower of Christ; He never met a stranger, and He loved the Lord and his family.

Funeral services will be 1pm Thursday at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville with Pastor John Stallings officiating. Calling hours will be 12-1pm Thursday at the funeral Home. Gene will be laid to rest in Sunset Hills Memory Garden, Canton, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shepherd's Hill Church, 7560 N. Nickleplate Ave, Louisville, OH 44641.
