Gordon "Bud" R. Lange, Jr

Gordon (Bud) R. Lange, Jr, age 69, of Mogadore, OH passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 17, 2022. Gordon was born (5-20-1952) and raised in Akron, Ohio. He graduated from Akron North High School in 1971.  After high school, he was employed by Ford Motor Company at the Walton Hills Stamping Plant. He began in production, then retired in 2002 as a carpenter in skilled trades, after 30 years of service. There wasn't anything that Gordon couldn't fix or build. He was a master of purchasing old farm equipment, cars, lawn mowers, etc. and he "brought them back to life" to be used on his farm. He enjoyed many years hunting with family and friends in Southern Ohio. The woods were his second home. He enjoyed golfing with his wife, Kay, and they also enjoyed spending recent winters in Arizona in their motorhome. Gordon had a love for classic cars, especially fords. He enjoyed tinkering on his '76 Mercury, his '52 Kaiser, and he was in the process of restoring his ‘63 Ford Falcon. Gordon (Bud) never met a stranger. He was always willing to share opinions about worldly events. His sense of humor put smiles on the people knew and loved.

Gordon was preceded in death by his parents, Carolyn (Cormany) Craven and Gordon R. Lange, Sr., and also by his half-brother, James (Deb) Stults.

He will be sadly missed by his wife of 36 years, Kay (Sickles) Lange, his stepbrother, Jeff (Denise) Hood, his half-brother, Christopher (Rachelle) Lange, and the Ford Motor Walton Hills Breakfast Club of Retirees.

Per Gordon's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be announced at a future date. Donations in his memory may be made to the Haven of Rest Ministries, 175 E.
