Harry L. Dennis, age 90, of Louisville, OH passed away peacefully on Friday, February 28, 2025. He was born October 31, 1934 in Beallsville, OH to Ray and Mae Dennis. Harry was the owner operator of Hall of Fame Vending, and he worked as a carpenter in the area for many years. He was an Army Veteran. Harry was a faithful member of the Church of Christ his entire life. He was baptized on April 16, 1948 at the Walnut Avenue Church of Christ. Harry, his parents and siblings were among the founding members of the Louisville Church of Christ where he served as song leader and bible schoolteacher. He served as a deacon until 1990 when he was appointed elder. He served as an elder till his retirement in 2018.
Harry is survived by the love of his life and wife of 69 years, Sylvia (Crum) Dennis; a daughter, Vickie Dennis; son, Vincent (Katherine) Dennis; a brother, Merle (Janet) Dennis; granddaughter, Rachel (Dalton) Treiber and his great-grandson, Mason. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Eileen Kelly and a brother, Dale Dennis.
Funeral services will be 12 noon Wednesday (3/5) at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville with Jeff Stevenson and Brian Grubbs officiating. Calling hours will be 11am-12noon at the funeral home on Wednesday. Harry will be laid to rest in Evergreen Memorial Garden, Louisville, OH.
