Hobert J. Vanover

Hobert J. Vanover, age 86, of Louisville, OH passed away peacefully, in his home on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. He was born December 23, 1936 in Terryville, KY to the late Meridith and Helen Vanover. Hobert was retired from the Canton City Fire Department. He was a US Marine Corp. Veteran and a member of the Louisville American Legion.

Hobert is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sharon (Cross) Vanover; three daughters, Marie Vanover, Theresa (John) Macdonald, Elaine (Greg) Clark; two sons, Lee (Lisa) Vanover, Eric (Holly) Vanover; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Hobert was preceded in death by two siblings.

Calling hours will be 10-11am Monday morning at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville, OH. Funeral services will be 11am Monday morning at the funeral home with Minister Brian Grubbs officiating.
