Howard G. Strouble of Marlboro Twp. Passed away peacefully, in his home, on February 25, 2022. He was born August 1, 1932 to the late Allen and Lena Strouble. He worked at Harry Miller Contractors for 18 years before going into full time farming.
Howard is survived by his wife of 66 years, Berdine (Weisel) Strouble; four daughters, Barbara (George) McCarty, Joanne Upperman, Linda (Mitch) Thrope, Carolyn (David) McDonald; a son, Carl (Beth) Strouble; 14 grandchildren, George, Justin and Paul (Kristen) McCarty, Nicole (Luke) Coldsnow, Daniel (Sara) McCarty, Laura (Brian) Spencer, Anna (Mike) Bykowski, Josh Upperman, Tony (Alissa) Milini, Brandon (Kate) McDonald, Brooke McDonald, Allen, Cyle and Lucas (Anna) Strouble; 19 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Strouble and two sisters, Janice Foltz and Carol Bouck. The family would like to thank Mercy Hospice and his caretaker Patti, for the wonderful care that was given to Howard.
Honoring Howards wishes, there will be no public services. Memorial contributions, in Howard’s name, may be directed to the “Strouble Scholarship” at Marlington High School C/O Marlington Alumni Association, PO Box 6001, Alliance, OH 44601.
