James Paul Imdorf, age 73, of Louisville, OH passed away peacefully, in his home, on Friday, January 2, 2026. He was born February 26, 1952 in Canton, OH to the late Oscar and Arabell (Schulz) Imdorf. Jim was a lifelong member of Paradise Church and he retired from Soehnlen Piping after 31 years of service. Jim had a passion for restoring antique cars, motorcycles, or anything with a motor.
Jim is survived by his wife of 53 years, Candace (Clough) Imdorf; his daughter, Jennifer (Brandon) Poleski; two grandchildren, Sydney Sullivan and Jason Poleski; two brothers, Larry and John (Joan) Imdorf and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Carol Ryder and a brother, Gene Imdorf.
A memorial service to celebrate Jim’s life will be held at 11am on Friday (1/9) at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville, OH with Pastor John Stallings officiating. Jim’s family will receive friends from 10-11am Friday morning at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Aultman Hospice program.
