Joel W. Hostetler

Joel W. Hostetler, age 66, of Canton, OH, passed away Thursday, March 18, 2021. He was born in Canton, Ohio on June 11, 1954 to the late Leon and Marlene (James) Hostetler. Joel was a 1972 graduate of Louisville High School and was retired from the Timken Co. He was a member of the Greater Canton Slo-Pitch Softball Hall of Fame.

Joel is survived by a daughter, Lesha (Jeff) Powell; a son, Shaun Hostetler; two sisters, Kelley Poyser and Shawna (Patrick) Keefe; a brother, Brent (Diane) Hostetler; eight grandchildren, Jeff, Jakob, Codie, Tyson, Riley, Jacie, Chyler and Taylor.

Funeral services will be 6:30pm Monday at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville with Rev. Dr. David Anderson officiating. Calling hours will be from 5 till 6:30pm Monday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at www.stierisraelfuneralhome.com
