John E Dieffenbaugher Jr

John E. Dieffenbaugher Jr, age 82, of Louisville passed away peacefully with his family by his side in the early morning hours on Wednesday July 28, 2021. John was born on November 11, 1938 in Canton, OH, the son of the late John E. Sr and Catherine (Scanlon) Dieffenbaugher. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years Laurene on July 17, 2020,

Following retirement from various sales positions through the years and mowing grass at Skyland Pines Golf Course, he enjoyed his time on the links and singing karaoke at area establishments. He was a member of the Louisville Eagles and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his loving son and daughter-in-law Matt & Sandy (Sisterhen) Dieffenbaugher, granddaughters Gina (Adam) Fullmer and Shelby Dieffenbaugher (fiancé, l Jarrod Halter), great granddaughters Avery and Grace Fullmer.

Additional survivors include brothers: Bill (Sandy), Patrick (Carol) and Mike Dieffenbaugher; sisters: Rene Hester, Helen Abdul-Waajid, Sue (George) Eddleman; brother-in-laws: Richard (Norma) Zwick and Chuck (Kathie) Zwick; sister-in-laws Karen Dieffenbaugher and Linnea (Mike) Emery.

John joins the following family members: brothers Larry and Tom, sisters: Ann Oakes, Peggy Andrews and Kathy Thorn.

Per John's wishes a graveside service will be held 11am Tuesday (8/3) in St. Louis Parish Cemetery with Fr. Tom Bishop officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude PI, Memphis TN 38105-9959
