John "Jack" A. Wagner

John “Jack” Wagner, age 87, of Canton, OH passed away Monday, December 25, 2023. He was born January 14, 1936 in Canton, OH to the late Clarence and Vesta Wagner. Jack was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church and he retired from East Ohio Gas in 1994.

Jack is survived by his wife of 66 years, Joyce (Uber) Wagner; three daughters, Theresa (David) Burger, Linda (Joseph) Canestraro, Patricia (Steve) Schick; his son, John (Lisa) Wagner; three sisters, Bette Talkington, Marjorie Peterson, Vivian Johnk; two brothers, Clarence “Sonny” and Robert Wagner; eight grandchildren, Dustin, Jonathan, Daniel, Tricia, Zoe, Jack, Luke and Aubrey and four great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne and Larry Wagner.

A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am Friday morning at St. Louis Catholic Church in Louisville with Fr. Matthew Humerickhouse officiating.
