John Paul Barnes

John Paul Robert Louis Barnes, age 93, of Louisville, Ohio passed away on January 18, 2025. He was born and lived his entire life in Louisville, the eldest son of the late Joseph and Leanna (Brown) Barnes. He married Beverly Ann Zwick in 1952 and remained happily married until her death in 2022.

He is survived by his five sons, Mitch (Sue), Scott, Christopher (Kimberly), Mark (Daria) and Eric Barnes; his brother, Richard (Linda) Barnes; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Jean Cook.

He was known for his kindness and warm personality and will be remembered by all those who met him. A frequent traveler throughout the United States as well as Europe, he made friends wherever he went.
