Hop was best known for being a family man. He dearly loved and supported his family and nothing was more important to him than spending time with them. Hop enjoyed working in his yard, couponing, playing cards, fishing and watching his sports teams the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Cavaliers and the Cleveland Guardians. Hop loved to tell jokes. He enjoyed cooking but always said he and his wife could not be in the kitchen at the same time! He loved his friends and neighbors. Hop was a much loved teacher and coach. He taught math and physics for over 30 years at Louisville High School and coached football and track for over 20 years. His students loved him and frequently visited and called over the years.
No services will be held per his wishes. If you would like to celebrate Hop’s memory, please make a donation in his memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. God bless all friends and family that have prayed and supported Hop, especially his Granddaughter Briana, a nurse, who went above and beyond caring for him.
