Lance R. Hite

Lance R. Hite, age 85, of Louisville, OH passed away Monday, June 12, 2023. He was born March 23, 1938 in Canton, OH to the late Roger and Jane (Schick) Hite. Lance was a graduate of Louisville High School and attended Kent State University. He worked many years as an engineer for the Babcock and Wilcox Co. Lance was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Hite; his son, Ross Hite; and his brother, Bruce Hite. He is survived by his daughter, Wendy Hite; granddaughter, Andrea (Charles) Black; grandson, Kyle Hite; great-granddaughter, Eloise Black; his sister, Karen (Larry) Saeger; half-sister, Gretchen (Bill) Landers; two half-brothers, Scott and Blaine Hite.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm on Wednesday June21 at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville followed by a service to celebrate Lance’s life beginning at 2pm. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.stierisraelfuneralhome.com
