Lillian Ruth (Adams) Haidet

Lillian Ruth Haidet, age 93, of Ocean View, Delaware, formerly of Louisville, Ohio, passed away December 30, 2025. She was born March 15, 1932 in Nimishillen Township, OH to the late Wilbert and Emma (Kempka) Adams.

Lillian grew up in Fairhope, Ohio.  After graduating Louisville High School, she worked at the Hoover Company and later at the General Electric Credit Corporation in Canton.  She was a longtime parishioner of St. Louis Church in Louisville and lived for several years at the Alsatian Independent Living center before moving to Delaware with her son, Terree.

Lillian enjoyed traveling and went on many cruises with her husband and friends after her retirement.  She also enjoyed spending time with her family.

Lillian was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Wayne Haidet, in 2011; her sister, Marian Sundheimer and her brother, Lester Adams. She is survived by two sons, Terree Haidet and Todd (Susan) Haidet; her granddaughter, Ally (Jordan) Seitz and her great-granddaughter, Wren Seitz.

Funeral services will be held at 11am on Friday, January 16, 2026 at Stier-Israel Funeral Home, 917 E. Main St. Louisville, OH 44641 with Fr. Tom Bishop officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11am Friday morning at the funeral home. Lillian will be laid to rest, beside her husband, in St. Louis Parish Cemetery, Louisville, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children Research Hospital, 501 ST Jude PL Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
