Louis A. "Tony" DiMondo

Tony passed away at a young 42 years of age from a fatal motorcycle accident in Hartville, OH. He leaves behind his wife, “Queen” Shelby; his son, “Man” Ryan; his daughters, “princesses” Anika, Brooklynn, Nina, and Navy; his mother, Jill Hazen; step-father, Jack Hazen; and parent-in-laws, Paula and Jim Blaine. Many people that knew him will feel a huge hole in their heart. He was fiercely dedicated to his family, his rescue animals, and his friends.

Tony pursued a mechanics degree at Ohio Technical College after high school and specialized in High Performance cars. His passion and profession was working on anything with a motor!! He wanted to build it bigger, better and faster! While he was working on many private projects, he also worked for OMAX Construction where he found a family of committed Drill Operators that provided cable, water, and electrical services to area communities.

 Beyond his career, Tony was known for his generous heart, loyal friendships, and unwavering commitment to those he loved. Whether spending time with family, helping a friend in need, or sharing laughter with those around him, he lived with a spirit that drew people to him. His greatest joy was his family and he took immense pride in being a husband and father.

A memorial service to celebrate Tony’s life will be held on Friday (6/5) at 10:00am at Christ Presbyterian Church. Location is 530 W. Tuscarawas St. Canton, OH 44720. The family would gladly accept fellowship after the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are greatly appreciated to the Stark County Humane Society, 5100 Peach St Louisville, OH 44641.
