Lynn Waers

Lynn Waers, age 89, of East Canton, OH passed away peacefully on July 26, 2025 after an extended illness.

Lynn is preceded in death by the love of her life, Foster (Kurt) Waers along with 2 brothers. Lynn is survived by 1 sister, 3 devoted children, Timothy (Shawna) Waers, Christopher Waers, Kathy (Waers) Steve Tant, 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews. Her large family all meant the world to her, and they all loved her dearly in return. Lynn was a retired RN from Mercy Hospital, a longtime member of the Louisville Eagles and carried her faith with Center Church of the Brethren.

The family will receive friends and extended family at Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville on Friday, August 1st from 5-7pm, Funeral services will follow on Saturday, August 2nd at 10am, after which Lynn will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Louisville, OH.
