Mary Kathryn (Shank) Guidone, age 89, of Louisville, OH passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on Friday, August 25, 2023. She was born October 22, 1933 in Canton, OH to the late Wilton and Grace (Myers) Shank. She was a 1952 graduate of Lincoln High School in Canton. Mary enjoyed trips to casinos, bowling and bocce but her biggest claim to fame was cooking big meals on Sundays for her family and never knowing a stranger.

Mary is survived by her husband of 65 years, Paul Guidone; her daughter, Paula (Jeff) Adams; two sons, Nick and Guy (Lori) Guidone; five grandchildren, Amanda (Michal) Zabrecky, Kayla (Thomas) Briggs, Franco Guidone, Colby Adams, Brooke Adams and 11 great-grandchildren, Louis, Jack, Olivia, Josephine, Anna, and Margaret Briggs and Dominik, Nora, Maria, Benjamin and Maximillian Zabrecky. She was also preceded in death by a son, Joseph Guidone and nine siblings.

Mary will be laid to rest, with a private family graveside service, in Union Cemetery, Louisville, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Aultman Hospice and Compassionate Care Center. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.stierisraelfuneralhome.com
